My inquisitive wheels began spinning after I watched a program on the History Channel called, "Ancient Aliens". They showed an Egyptian hieroglyphic in the Temple of Dendera that completely resembled a light bulb. The translation experts gave had something to do with the lotus flower ... That doesn't look like a flower to me. It looks like the Egyptians had other lights sources other then the sun. The "bulb" clearly plugs into an energy source and there is a filament of some sort in the middle of the bulb. Upon seeing this beautiful piece of history I got extremely curious. If this was hidden away in a sacred temple for how many years - what else is there out there? After many Google searches I came across a wonderful website that gave me a whole new culture to study ... The Sumerians.
